What an old fashioned country fair should be!

The beginning of Carolina Foothills Heritage Fair in Fair Play South Carolina. A seed of hope planted in the minds of a group of young farmers in the foothills of South Carolina. A thought that perhaps people would enjoy a return to the good old days-- days when old fashioned country fairs were a great place to see your neighbors and meet new people. Back in the day when you knew the neighbor who raised the vegetables you bought at the corner market. A day when you knew the neighbor who mowed the hay; the farmer whose Holsteins provided your family's milk. The Carolina Foothills Heritage Fair is that seed, and it is that fair.

A Great Big Heartfelt THANK YOU!!!

To everyone who attended the Carolina Foothills Heritage Fair from October 4 – 8. The weather was beautiful and the crowds enjoyed craft and food vendors, the rides, the animals and the family atmosphere. From delicious BBQ and chocolate covered cheese cake to hand carved bowls and puppy parades, it seemed everyone found something to smile about.

Thank you to our sponsors , our vendors, our artists and crafts folks, the musicians and dancers, the students who worked hard to get displays ready and to share them with everyone, to the livestock showmen and to those who paraded their antique tractors. Thanks again to everyone who made the 3^rd annual fair a huge success!!!!!!!
