McKayla Alene Reece
Currently is working withe Mr. Agee and Mr. Huskins a Grammy
Winning Multi Platinum Producer in Nashville.
McKayla recently recorded four original songs with them. Two of the songs that
McKayla recorded were written by the late great Harlan Howard .These songs have
not been released to the public yet.
This dynamic, versatile young singer hails from the mountains of Western
North Carolina, with her roots stemming from South
Carolina. Her child-like innocence, teamed with
powerful vocals, easily captures the hearts of all ages.
McKayla Reece was born in Haywood County, NC
in 1999 and sang her first song in church two years later. By the age of eight,
she was singing in a nearby variety show called Carolina Nights in Maggie
Valley, NC and appeared at the Grand Ole Opry Studio A with Mike Snider at the
age of ten. She has since appeared with the legendary Carter Family at the
Cater Fold, The Blackwood Brothers, The Inspirations, Lulu Roman, Brett James
and others. Additionally, she has appeared on television programs on CMT and
several local programs in North Carolina,
South Carolina, and Tennessee.
For several years she has performed at the East Coast World Championship Rodeo,
the Western NC State Fair, and various county and city festivals.
Nashville appearances include the
Grand Ole Opry, Hall Of Fame, Nashville
Palace, and Tootsie’s of Nashville,
The General Jackson Show Boat, the Wild Horse Saloon, Rudi’s, John A’s, and the
Stage. Est.
Her wide vocal range allows her to perform songs in a variety of genres
including Southern Gospel, Country, Jazz and Pop. She recently preformed at the
Colgate Country Showdown Local, State, and Southeast Regional’s.
Recently McKayla was the headliner for the Georgia Association of Agricultural
Fair 98th Annual convention and was presented with Friend of the Fairs Award.
Currently an A honor roll student, McKayla works daily on her vocal talents with
Ms. Smith of Atlanta, whose client
list includes Justin Bieber, Usher, The Band Perry.
Est. is McKayla’s vocal producer and assists with her vocal
development.
The Disabled American Veterans (DAV), by proclamation McKayla
Reece as their Ambassador for Central Georgia Chapter 33 and South Carolina Chapter
40. McKayla is now the Ambassador /
Sweetheart for the whole State of Georgia and South Carolina for the DAV.
